Together with the guides of nature organization IVN and Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht, go exploring in the ditches of the Biesbosch. With a scoop net, water tank, search card and a magnifying glass, you will discover which animals and plants live in and around the ditch. Find the large spinning water beetle, find out who can skate on the water in summer and try to catch the fastest swimmers in the ditch.
The guides will tell you all about the wonderful creatures you will encounter. Ditches are very important for all kinds of animals and plants in the Netherlands. By going on an adventure themselves, children find out at an early age. So come with your friends to the Ditch Day and especially bring your parents and/or grandparents.
