Open Podium Statenplein, every Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. with a very diverse program, filled by music groups, choirs, orchestras, singer-songwriters, poets, theater makers, dance groups and other performing artists from Dordrecht and the surrounding area.
Featuring tonight: Vocal Group Route Sixteen
In 2007, the choir moved to Dordrecht. The repertoire gradually expanded and became a mix of Barbershop, jazzy songs, close harmony and Dutch songs. In 2011 Route Sixteen permanently joined the Dutch barbershop organization Holland Harmony. This guarantees quality, the choir can claim many coaches, participate in working weekends and during conventions the choir can measure itself against other barbershop choirs.
In 2014, Marlous Luiten will be the new conductor. Marlous has over 10 years of experience as a professional singer, actress and theater producer in the cabaret group Femmage. Meanwhile, we not only sing barbershop songs, but also close harmony.
