On May 20, 21 and 22, 2025, the Dordt World Dinner will be served for the second time. This time the proceeds will go to the "Wil Schrijvershof study fund for deaf girls" in Bamenda (Cameroon). With contributions from this fund, deaf girls from poor families can still go to school. The dinner will be organized by the Dordrecht-Bamenda, Dordrecht-Varna and Dordrecht-Dordrecht (South Africa) city links.
At the restaurants Merz, Het Magazijn and Rebel Rebel, students from the Da Vinci College catering department are serving a world menu. The students devised the menus together with the restaurants' chefs. The students buy, cook and serve the meals themselves.
- On Tuesday, May 20, dinner will be at Rebel Rebel and on Wednesday, May 21, at Merz.
Both restaurants will serve a three-course menu, including welcome drinks for €40.00.
- On Thursday, May 22, at the Warehouse, things will go a little differently.
A number of special dishes will be added to the regular shared menu, with proceeds going to the scholarship fund.
