On May 30, DJS welcomes one of today's leading guitarists: Blake Aaron. Known as a "guitar player's guitarist" and praised by critics worldwide, Aaron brings his virtuoso playing and impressive career to the Netherlands for a unique live experience.
Described by the Los Angeles Times as "a genius on the guitar," Blake Aaron has worked with legendary artists such as Philip Bailey (Earth, Wind & Fire), Sheila E., Bobby Womack, Carlos Santana, The Gap Band and Bill Champlin (Chicago). In addition to his live performances, he is also a sought-after session musician in television and film and was the regular guitarist for Fox's "MAD TV" for fifteen years.
Blake Aaron will be accompanied at this concert by The Pact, an internationally renowned group of musicians from the Netherlands. The core of The Pact consists of founder Sietse Huisman on drums, bassist Ronald Jonker, guitarist Jeff Sopacua and keyboardist/producer of the EP Tico Pierhagen.
