The magical Land of Oz has often been the setting for stories, musicals, youth shows and of course films such as Wicked and Alice in Wonderland. In 1978, The Wiz, the iconic film adaptation of the Broadway classic The Wizard of Oz, was released, starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson.
In this family show of the same name, you are (once again) taken along in the story of the young Dorothy, who is carried away by a tornado to the fairytale world of Oz, where nothing seems like home. The Good Witch of the North tells her that in order to return, she must follow the Yellow Brick Path, but for that she needs the help of the powerful Wizard of Oz, who lives in the Emerald City. Along the way, Dorothy meets a Scarecrow, a Lion and a Tin Man, who all have a dream. Will Dorothy find her way home? And will the dreams of the others come true?
