"Silence Above Us" takes you on a penetrating journey through the streets of historic Dordrecht, where the past and the present intersect. This theatrical performance is inspired by true war stories of real people. Through powerful images and personal testimonies, the echoes of history are brought to life.
During the performance you will be taken through the streets of Dordrecht. Keep in mind that during the walk there will be several obstacles such as steps/sidewalk, a slight incline and narrowing in the form of fences. Also keep in mind your surroundings, during the performance there will be ambient noise and road users. Despite these challenges, we will try to convey the performance to the best of our ability.
After the performance, there is opportunity to discuss the performance with each other. Museum 1940-1945 offers seating in the adjacent courtyard and coffee and tea is available for purchase.

Upon presentation of your performance ticket, it is possible to visit Museum 1940-1945 at a reduced rate.
