Tjitske Reidinga wrote a performance she would go to herself. The result: a poetic performance full of dryly comic situations, uncomfortable thoughts and her favorite music.
Solo about the power of fantasy and about being able to be anything
Tjitske Reidinga wanted to make something sweet, something funny. So she wrote a show that she herself would go to. And luckily she is going herself, because if you need something for your own one-woman show, it is yourself. But what exactly is that, yourself? How do you see yourself? Why is that sometimes so different from how others see you? These and many other questions will be asked in Tjitske's poetic performance full of dryly comic situations, uncomfortable thoughts and her favorite music.
'Portrait' is fine theater night that gives you something: the feeling that you are not alone, for example. Or a place you can go to for something fun, without it being difficult or heartbreaking right away. An ode to theater and to small life, a solo about the power of imagination and about being able to be anything.
