Music lovers, mark March 15, 2025 in your calendars! We are proud to welcome none other than saxophonist, composer and bandleader Toon Roos, one of Holland's most acclaimed jazz musicians.
Toon Roos is internationally acclaimed for his unique sound, lyrical playing and intuitive approach to jazz. With a career that spans four decades, Toon has performed with jazz legends such as Joe Zawinul, Peter Erskine, Toots Thielemans and even toured with Steely Dan.
His repertoire is a rich mix of jazz standards, Brazilian classics and his own compositions, performed with passion and masterful craftsmanship. This evening's program consists of Brazilian bossa nova and samba classics, complemented by his own compositions.
