Mula B
Mula B, a rapper born in The Hague in 1991, is considered a pioneer of Dutch hip-hop in the year 2025. With his label and collective Wilde Westen, he was one of the first to bring the trap genre to the Netherlands. His breakthrough came with the cult classic D&G (2016), followed by four successful studio albums and multiple multi-platinum hits such as Bandolero, Fully Fendi and Faktap Broeder. His collaborations with diverse artists demonstrate his versatility without sacrificing originality.
His album Narcopop (2023) was hailed as the best Dutch-language hip-hop album of the year and won an Edison in 2024 for its groundbreaking nature. A successful tour and performances at major festivals underscored his wide appeal. In early 2025, he won the Pop Stipendium from Het Cultuurfonds and finished in third place in 3voor12's Noorderslag Top 25, which described his performance as "stair theater at the highest level."
