Antwerp-based Black Leather Jacket is all the way back with new music. After breakthrough single 'Village People', the band released its second album 'Stinger' in 2023. After a successful tour that included passages at Pukkelpop, Crammerock and Gladiolen, the band retreated to the studio with producer Damien Vanderhasselt in the fall of 2024 to pen a follow-up. Australian Michael Badger (Amyl And The Sniffers, King Gizzard And The Lizzard Wizard) came on board to mix the whole thing.
The result is impressive: the new record "The Rush" sounds even bigger and more aggressive. The band takes the sound to a new level, but retains its own recipe. "The Rush" explores the ever rippling life, and the speed at which we must anticipate. Always looking forward and striving for more, but never really having both feet in the here and now.
