In this workshop you will learn how to design a good protest button. Thanks to the button machine you will leave with at least one unique button on your jacket or bag. Protest buttons became popular in the 70's: against nuclear weapons and for abortion for example. You see them again today, on denim jackets and backpacks. Buttons are small and yet it is often immediately clear what it says: that is not so easy... What must a good protest button meet?
The workshop will give you tips on color contrast, fonts, shapes and symbols. In short: protesting can be learned!
