Guided by program maker and yoga teacher Maartje Roggeveen, on June 22 you can experience the space and exhibition in a special way: by moving among them. In between the sculptures, Maartje will give a hatha yoga class and invite you to reflect - on the art and the theme of the exhibition. The class alternates between calming and more strenuous postures.
Maartje recently graduated from the Design for Interaction master's program at TU Delft, has been working as a program maker at the Kunstkerk since December and also teaches yoga. Her classes focus on body awareness: how conscious movement contributes to feeling good. Her approach is down-to-earth, but with room for depth.
Classes are suitable for both beginners and advanced students. There is room for a maximum of 15 participants per session. Remember to bring your own yoga mat - the Arts Church has only a limited number of mats available.
