On Sunday, July 20, it is Summerfestijn again at Huis Van Gijn and you are invited!
Inside the house and in the museum garden there is plenty to do. In the museum house you will meet people in historical costumes who are also guests at the party. They will be able to tell you all about life on the estate.
Dance and taste
Join a dance workshop 19th-century quadrille in the stately Hall of the Museum House. Discover how tasteful the cuisine was in the days of the Van Gijns! Taste what was served at a fancy picnic circa 1900.
Especially for children
Those who love crafts can have fun in the Upper Room. With colors and materials, you can make a party cake or a skirt puppet. In the museum's garden you will find all kinds of fun games to play together, for all ages!
