Popcentrale is the home of the local music scene in Dordrecht. In the basement of the Energiehuis you will find a vibrant center where musicians of all ages and levels come together to practice, record, perform and inspire each other. Popcentrale offers fully equipped practice rooms, DJ rooms, a DIY studio and a stage seven days a week. Artists and music lovers can come for performances, jam sessions, workshops, parties and talent development programs such as the Grote Prijs van Dordt and The Next Gem.
In addition to the physical center, there is also Popcentrale on Wheels: a mobile music studio with which Popcentrale brings music into the neighborhood, in collaboration with partner R-Newt.
Young talent is extra encouraged by a special youth rate. Most events are free and the atmosphere is always accessible and inclusive. Popcentrale is there for makers and fans.
