National Theatre Weekend
Kunstmin celebrates theater during the National Theater Weekend. During the weekend of January 27 and 28, enjoy a performance of your choice for only €5, €7.50 or €10. There are also many fun extra activities. There is a program for young and old, whether you are a regular or new visitor: everyone is welcome during the Theaterweekend. Come and enjoy and be surprised by all that theater has to offer.
Open House
Sunday, January 28, is the open house at Kunstmin. Besides visiting the youth performances, you can also participate in other fun activities. You don't have to visit a performance for that, you can just walk in.
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.: Nobel's Breakfast, reserve your reservation through this link. Join the Reading Party during breakfast and/or visit the performance after your breakfast. (Breakfast includes fresh juice and excludes coffee/tea/other drinks)
10.00 - 10.45 a.m.: Read aloud party in cooperation with the Dordrecht Library. Because it is the National Read Aloud Days and National Theatre Weekend, it is a double celebration! Therefore there will be read aloud from 'Help! A surprise', the picture book of the year. You are welcome in the foyer, where the heroes of the library are ready to welcome you. Free admission.
11 a.m. and 1 p.m.: dance performance "Color moves you!" (3+)
12.15 - 13.15 p.m.: Come enjoy crafting at Kunstmin! Get creative with artist Chantal van Heeswijk and create the most beautiful works of art. Free entrance! (for all ages)
12:15 - 13:15: Book one of the guided tours learn more about the Schouwburg and take a look behind the scenes. Tickets € 3.50 (max. 15 participants)
13.30 and 16.00: musical Mees Kees Op Kamp (8+)
15.00 - 16.00: Come and tinker at Kunstmin! Get creative with artist Chantal van Heeswijk and create the most beautiful works of art. Free entrance! (for all ages)
