For nearly 20 years, Delain have been sharing their signature melodic metal sound with the world. There are already seven studio albums and three EPs to their credit, including guest appearances by the titans of the scene, Sharon Den Adel (WITHIN TEMPTATION), Marko Hietala (NIGHTWISH) and Alissa White-Gluz (ARCH ENEMY), among others. Having toured the world with bands such as NIGHTWISH, SABATON and WITHIN TEMPTATION, and rocking festivals such as WACKEN, GRASPOP and DOWNLOAD, Delain has strongly cemented its place in the scene as one of the original bands of the first generation in this genre.
In 2022, they announced a groundbreaking lineup change -- both new members and former members returned to the fold -- along with their long-awaited seventh studio album, titled Dark Waters, released early the following year. Dark Waters is a sonic roller coaster ride of catchy tunes with explosive elements ranging from pop- to movie-music-inspired to blistering metal. The album debuted at No. 9 on both the U.S. Hard Music Albums list and the official German album charts, captivating old fans and new listeners alike. In 2023, they toured the album worldwide. They are looking forward to another year of taking the stage with more world tours and metal festivals in 2024. Without a doubt, Delain continues their legacy while breaking new ground in the metal scene.

Damian balances his solo career as a singer-songwriter with being an energetic frontman for rock bands and guest vocalist. He has toured all over the world as frontman for bands such as Rick Wakeman's ERE and Threshold (which unfortunately led to permanent eye damage, but his hearing is still perfect).

Experienced musicians with admirable careers each, Johanna Kurkela and Johanna Iivanainen, will release their joint album under the name ALTAMULLAN ROAD on September 18, 2020. The band has already captured the public's interest with their three singles "When It's Time," "Underwater" and "Interstellar Friends" in 2020.
Altamullan Road may be their first album together, but Kurkela and Iivanainen have performed together before. Their friendship began as early as 10 years ago at a show where they both performed, and in 2018 they joined forces for the Iivanainen-Kurkela Gemini tour. It was an undertaking of 21 shows and proved to be a resounding success, almost every venue sold out. Their sisterly bond, passion for similar music and movies, and their curious, fearless outlook on life formed a close bond between the two, so the idea of a joint album made complete sense. And what an album it has become.
