During the exhibition Gebroeders Van Strij - Van sketch tot schilderij, art reflections are organized. Art contemplations were meetings at Pictura where drawings and prints were looked at by hand and passed around a table, with an explanation attached. A special way to look at and enjoy art together. And where better to do that than between the wallpapers of Abraham and Jacob van Strij?
Curator of ancient art, Sander Paarlberg, has selected drawings from Pictura's early days for this purpose. He will give an introduction, circulate the drawings and discuss them each time with a small group of 20-25 people.
The art review will be held four times:
