Passing jetties for small boats and sloops

Boat owners or boat lovers beware: the city council has made an effort to improve connections on the water, making the city even more accessible for pleasure boats. From the region it is now even easier to visit the city. Cruise in a relaxing way and visit the city center or the Biesbosch.

The locations for docking are:

  1. The Pottenkade, next to the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht. Ideal for visiting the surrounding restaurants or shopping on the Voorstraat-West and Grotekerksbuurt;
  2. Leuvenhaven, also near the Grote Kerk and restaurant Merz, Finn's and Lef;
  3. Mattenkade,near the Groothoofd.
  4. Loswalweg, on the Wantij near restaurant Het Gemaal
  5. Biesbosch Center

This way you can see multiple sides of Dordrecht by boat! You can sail from location to location and moor easily (for up to
three hours) with your own or rented boat. Additional advantage: discover the city or the Biesbosch at your leisure when you are
off board.

Practical info

There are a number of conditions associated with docking, here's the relevant info in a row:

  • Mooring: You can easily moor at the jetties with your own or rented sloop.
  • Duration: Maximum docking time is 3 hours.
  • Advantages: Easy access to different parts of Dordrecht and easily explore the city while you are
    are away from port for a while.
