Liberated Griffin
In Hof van Nederland you will experience how we in the Netherlands deal with our freedoms, past and present, told from different perspectives. There is also plenty of fun stuff to do for kids, like the children's activity "Bevrijd Griffioen".
The legend
According to an old legend, a real griffin lives in the renovated Hof van Nederland. This griffin is locked up in a fantasy world. Griffioen can only leave this world through a secret door, but this door is locked. The griffin is locked in the fantasy world because most adults don't believe in griffins anymore.
Liberated Griffin
In the museum you will be given a bag containing all kinds of mysterious objects. You will need these objects to complete a number of tasks. Make sure you find all the vistas, because you'll need Griffioen's hints! Can you free Griffin from the fantasy world? Then a reward awaits you! The children's tour is a fun activity to do with your (grand)child this summer vacation. At the same time you can visit the museum, which has recently been completely renovated.
