You really don't have to be bored this spring break, come play, explore animals, stargaze or ice skate
Come craft, play and discover animals
At the National Education Museum in Dordrecht, you can experience what your grandparents' school was like. There are fun vacation games and workshops such as letter bingo and crafting a jumping jack doll. And read, of course, by the campfire and during the story festival.
Or go into nature because the Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht organizes lots of fun activities. Come pick pellets, join the family excursion and discover birds or paw prints. You can also sail, while enjoying hot chocolate, the skipper will tell you all about the Biesbosch.
Enjoy being active
Do the speed skating course this vacation at Sportboulevard Dordrecht and at the end of the week you can already really skate and even perform some fun tricks. In a playful yet serious way with lots of personal attention from experienced skating trainers, toddlers, youth and junior plus as well as adults will learn to feel confident on the ice and narrow irons.
The climbing forest in the NP De Biesbosch opens again from February 17 so grab your chance and do one of the seven climbing routes. This climbing fun is for all ages from 6 and up. Each climbing route has its own level of difficulty. You choose your own route after which you climb independently.
Happy tails party
This spring break, learn all about animal behavior at the City Farm. And more importantly: what you yourself can do to take good care of these animals, because the better everyone takes care of the animals, the nicer the animals live at the City Farm.
On Saturday, Feb. 17, Sunday, Feb. 18 and Wednesday, Feb. 21, there are lots of fun activities such as the animal friend test where you learn what the animals are telling you. 'Animal in the spotlight', a photo quiz and an animal trail or get painted as your favorite farm animal.
Fun indoor activities
At Puppet theater Damiet van Dalsum you can enjoy the puppet and shadow story The Little Frederick. During the winter months there are stargazing evenings for children every Friday and Saturday night at Observatory Mercury. This vacation the theme is The Moon and Jupiter.
If the weather won't cooperate then go to the movies anyway. At Kinepolis and Filmtheater De Witt you have plenty of choice. Or would you rather be active inside? Bowlmore Dordrecht bowling and Glow in the Dark miniature golf. Or visit their neighbors Go-Kart-In for a spectacular go-kart track and indoor Segway.
