Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht

Beavers, water, birds, plants and the history of the vast nature reserve that is always on the move. Together, they form the thread of the interactive exhibition in the renewed and modernised public area of the Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht. The five themes each have their own route. By following these, you will discover more and more about the Biesbosch. For children, there is a surprising but also educational treasure hunt. The aim of the exhibition is to take the knowledge, ideas and tips you gather along the way outside. After all, you really experience the Biesbosch outside in nature.

The Beverbos, next to the visitor centre, has also been renewed and is definitely worth a visit. The artificial castle has been renewed, as well as the information boards. In the Biesbosch Centre, a fun treasure hunt through the Beverbos is for sale.

Want to experience the Biesbosch up close? Then get in a boat, canoe or on a sup. Explore and paddle through the creeks. Take a cruise with a whisper boat or rowing boat along willow forests and over the rivers. You will see and hear everything much better and experience nature in a special way. The rental is open daily from March 29 to October 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Foot Ferry to the Griend Museum Trail
From April through October, Solar Ferry 7 sails to the Griend Museum Trail, a beautiful nature trail. The ferry sails to the island every half hour from 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. daily. The last ferry back goes at 4:45 p.m.
