We would like to give you some tips for a successful weekend. Be sure to check out the events calendar for all the fun activities on offer.
Spring is coming and the time to explore the city again. There are several guided walks every weekend. Sometimes with tours or a delicious snack included, but always worthwhile.
Check the calendar for the list of opportunities. And the great thing is you don't have to come with a group. You are also welcome on your own!
Around Memorial Day and the celebration of May 5, there are various activities in the city.
In addition to the tradtional 2 minutes of silence, there are also special walks and concerts around town. Check the events calendar for programming.
Celebrate your freedom on Liberation Day at the first HOF on Sunday at Hof van Nederland! HOF on Sunday is a monthly event with surprising activities for the whole family. Join a workshop "Design your own T-shirt," join a guided tour "In conversation about freedom," experience live performances and music at the museum or listen to conversations about freedom and wartime artists at the Waldorf.
A reduced rate of €2 admission applies on this day. Entrance for children is always free.
Every first Sunday of the month there is a cozy art and antiques market on the Nieuwkerksplein. At the same time, most art, antique and curio shops are extra open during Kunstondje Dordt.
At the art and antiques market, you might find that perfect little table you've been looking for for so long, or that cute little print and perhaps a nice vintage dress.
Starting at 2 p.m., the square will be even more fun, as there will also be live music. Of course, there will also be tasty snacks and drinks available.
