Dordrecht is easily accessible by car, train, bus, bicycle and by water. Dordrecht is on the A16 between Breda and Rotterdam and can be reached from Antwerp within an hour. The crystal clear water with an active marine life attracts all kinds of birds to this area. As always, the birds during the morning and evening will be quieter and closer to admire than during busy daytime hours. The birds can be captured beautifully and it is a favorite area for hikers and birders.

The Kunstrondje Dordt is a walk through the historic city center past the many galleries, art, antique and curio stores, antiquarian bookshops and museums in Dordrecht. There are about 60 participants, all within walking distance of each other in the city center. You will find old and modern art, classic design, antiques, brocante, (antiquarian) books and much more. The route is available at the VVV tourist office. Every 1st Sunday of the month, they are exclusively open during Kunstrondje Dordt. A perfect time to visit Dordrecht!
In addition to the Kunstrondje Dordt, several antiques markets are organized. Like the art, antiques and curios markets around the Nieuwkerk on the Nieuwkerksplein. Here are as many as 40 stalls and there is a cozy terrace where snacks and drinks are available. There is also live music to enjoy.
