Pandora. The property was built in 1735 as a mansion on the site of three to four older houses. The house was richly decorated both inside and out, which can still be seen in the Louis XV style room. The period room is part of the current store space and is partly hidden from view by book shelves. The period room served as a coffee room and had a connection to the kitchen behind it for serving drinks. This passage door is still present. In 1981 Pandora moved into the building: a special store full of curiosities, antiques and second-hand books. The facade of the building has since been restored and painted in the historic 'Dordtse' colors.
