On September 24, Dordrecht will celebrate the birthday of Johan de Witt. Exactly 400 years ago, one of the Netherlands' most famous statesmen was born a stone's throw from the Grote Kerk. The day takes place in the historic heart of Dordrecht in the footsteps of Johan de Witt. You will get to know Johan de Witt better through lectures, theater, a city walk and guided visits to the exhibition 'The World of Johan de Witt'. Experts Luc Panhuysen, Jean-Marc van Tol, Ineke Huysman and Marianne Eekhout will tell you about Johan de Witt and how he was brought back to life after 400 years.
