Symposium titled "The World of Johan de Witt" where distinguished speakers from home and abroad will take you into the seventeenth century. Who was Johan de Witt and what was his world like? What was his relationship with Stadholder William III, what was his role as godparent to noble children, what do we now know about his family, his art, his legacy and his role in the colonial past?
