Theater performance about the effects of Noncongenital Brain Injury.
Mark and Eva have been happily married for more than twenty years when a serious accident turns both their lives upside down. Mark's personality has changed drastically, making coexistence with Eva increasingly difficult.
This play highlights the final days of their living together, during which tensions escalate. As both prepare for Mark's move to an assisted living facility, the frustration of invisible disability and the pain of miscommunication come to the surface. Eva must deal with her inner conflict: the love for the man Mark once was and the reality of the man he has now become. Will Mark manage to look at himself in the mirror and accept the image he sees? A poignant look at life-altering changes that the effects of NAH can cause.
Following, there will be an opportunity to engage in conversation with the creators.
