In 2023, DJ Tim op het Broek launched a podcast series about the life of Alfred Lagarde ("Big AL"). A tribute to a radio pioneer with contributions from fellow DJs, artists, friends and family. Lagarde Live! is the next step, with musicians joining in as well. We return to the atmosphere of the legendary Countdown Café. Tim shares unique stories and exclusive audio clips of Alfred, while the Big AL Band plays the music of artists that made Alfred great and that the band members themselves were fans of. Countdown Café was the place to hear your heroes play live, and we're bringing that feeling back.
