Registration for Rond Uit Dordrecht's Fiets4Daagse is open. By now, the bicycle four-day event has become a good tradition that many look forward to. The organization hopes to make it another pleasant week with many beautiful cycling kilometers.
The event will take place in 2025 during the week between Ascension and Pentecost, from June 3 to 6. Routes of 30, 50 and 80 km can be chosen. These are new and tailored to surprising themes.
- On "World Cycling Day" June 3, the Alblasser- and Krimpenerwaard region will be cycling past places of interest to cyclists.
- On Wednesday, they visit farmers and gardeners who sell their own produce on the Eiland van Dordrecht and in the Alblasserwaard.
- The De Witt brothers, especially Cornelis, who lived and worked in Dordrecht, is the subject of Thursday's routes. These are mainly about their old possessions in the Hoeksche Waard.
- Friday they will cycle through the Brabant Biesbosch and is dedicated to the Linie Crossers. The Linie Crossers was a resistance group that maintained a courier service through the Biesbosch from November 1944 to May 5, 1945 to transport people and resources between occupied Holland and liberated North Brabant.
