Willow pollarding by volunteers. Pruning and/or planting a pollard willow can be done from November to March, but given the chance of frost, the period from late February through late March is most ideal.
At 9 a.m. you can sail over to NIVON house De Kleine Rug. There coffee/tea and pea soup will be provided. Work will continue until 3 p.m., but it is possible to stop earlier and work only in the morning, for example. Besides willows, you can also prune trees and thin shrubs in the area.
